  Enter the Dragon

You must fwow wike the wata.... My friends, I have added a page to my site devoted to my dragon MOC. 4 feet long, a 4 foot wing span, she is a sight to see. There is a link on my main page now, to the page. There are 13 detailed pictures of the (...)   Re: Flashpoint: One year of LEGO Mechcommander!

(...) Congrats! One year and running. Your site is one of the cleanest, most models packed on the web. Everytime I go there it has something new. The Sunder with the skull for a torso is still my favorite...that one was the inspiration for the skull (...) (24 years ago, 11-Apr-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: BLAST update! Thumbnails and new creations.

(...) Thanks Christopher, The Aliens loader really is a cool concept and I encourage you to try building one. The hunchback is the first mecha I every built using the throwbot ball-and-socket joints. The secret, in the Hunchbacks case, is to use (...) (24 years ago, 11-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: BLAST update! Thumbnails and new creations.

(...) Thanks Mladin, I think the hunchback can officially be declared the winner, it certainly seems to be the most popular. As I stated in the info for the hunchback, it was inspired by the Zentraedi Queadlunn-Rau from Macross. I have another (...) (24 years ago, 11-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: BLAST update! Thumbnails and new creations.

(...) Thanks Jeremy, I am pretty happy with this loader, even though like most bipedal loaders it would probably fall on its face if it ever tried to lift anything heavy. Ever since seeing the the movie aliens, I have had a fondness for the concept (...) (24 years ago, 11-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: BLAST update! Thumbnails and new creations.

(...) somewhat unique in its shape and concept, even though, as I said before, it is a direct rip off of the Zentraedi Queadlunn-Rau from Macross. And no worries, there is more on the way! Jay (24 years ago, 11-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: BLAST update! Thumbnails and new creations.

(...) Thanks Eric, I like the Hunchback too, but personally I prefer the Super Maiden. The Super was a rework of may very first mecha called the Maiden and in fact, I have a third version called the Man-at-arms still be posted. In my opinion the (...) (24 years ago, 11-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: BLAST update! Thumbnails and new creations.

(...) Thanks Mark, but I don’t think I am familiar with the SAMAS armor of which you refer. The actual inspiration for the hunchback was the Zentraedi Queadlunn-Rau from Macross. (...) These are all good ideas and I must admit sometimes I neglect (...) (24 years ago, 11-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

  Motor with Gear Reduction ??!??

Hi all, Looking through the Pitsco Dacta catalog, I happened to see a 9V Motor with Gear Reductino listed for $16.25. Does anybody have any information about this item? It appears smaller than the standard 9V motor, which makes me think that it (...) (24 years ago, 11-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

Re: Pneumatic Pump Testing Goes Hi Tech

TRU-FLATE tire pressure guages are made by Stant. If you search the Web for "Tru-Flate" you will find several stores that sell them. I have been using a digital tire guage (like the one originally suggested on Soh Chio's site) up until now to (...)   Re: Flashpoint: One year of LEGO Mechcommander!

Hi, I recongized about 1/4 of the mech designs, and I think that you have done an excellent job rendering those in Lego. As for the others, even if I don't like a number of the Battletech designs, I'm still impressed by the way you've con- structed (...) (24 years ago, 11-Apr-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
