  Re: Spray Painting

(...) One of my friends in junior high built a Lego volcano, and spray-painted the thing gray when he was done (including the pieces from his yellow castle! Ack!!) at any rate, while being a little tighter to fit together, they still worked okay. (...) (24 years ago, 26-Mar-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Combining 2x4 bricks

(...) I did my honours year in Combinatorics which is the area of mathematics dealing with combining things (essentially). I've considered looking at the the number of ways of combining any number of bricks (like 10 for example) but the problem is (...) (24 years ago, 26-Mar-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

  BLAST debut

Hello everyone, I am posting my very first message to Lugnet in order to debut my Lego website called B.L.A.S.T. (Bureau of Lego Armed Services Technology). I created B.L.A.S.T. to showcases my various original Lego creations based on a futuristic (...) (24 years ago, 26-Mar-01, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Contest Entry for Non-violent space contest: Maven Long Range Scout

Here's my entry for Paul Hartzog's space contest. It's the Maven Long Range Scout / Espionage Ship. Its design was heavily influenced by the SR-71 Blackbird, and it basically fills the same role. Enjoy! (URL) (24 years ago, 26-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: New Carrier - Starship Gibraltar

(...) Another excellnet creation from the Jassim Spaceworks. :) The colors are excellent. It appears that you had a visit from the Grand Admiral - though he seems like he needs a hair cut.... ;) The recovery bays seem to be a shade close to the (...)   Re: Jeremy Sproat

Yes, the series has more labors in it, tho its hard to find the eps anywhere... took me over a month to finally get the 7 original OAVs, 16 second OAVs, and 47 episodes of the TV series... Thank god for MIRC :P But there are many different types of (...) (24 years ago, 26-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Carrier - Starship Gibraltar

(...) Same here, man. Yeah, too bad I showed up late (again). We didn't really get to visit like we usually do. Hey, maybe next week? (...) Thanks, man. Yeah, it's so much more impacting to see people's creations in person. To me, your new mech is (...) (24 years ago, 26-Mar-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.starwars)

Since one of the recent topics seems to be race craft...

Here is one of mine: (URL) just threw it together tonight, but I think it looks cool. It gets its name (pronounced like "Pharaoh") from the headdress like assembly on the rear of the main body of the ship. No match for the Admiral's race craft by (...)   Re: Preview pics of my new mecha

Actually its an antennae. The piece should be one of those dark gray bars (Lightsaber piece) that come in some of the Star Wars sets. I don't actually know the identity of the part used in the model. I'll check it later and I'll change it when I (...) (24 years ago, 26-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Carrier - Starship Gibraltar

Dan, Forget the carrier. It was just good to see you in person again!!! Okay the carrier ROCKS!!! Pure Danielization. The details are just everywhere. Pictures really don't do this justice.
