  Re: My first smaller mech

(...) I have been toying with that head idea for several months now but only you could pull it off. That is truely amazing. PS: still waiting for pics of the Serpent Mecha. :P (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Scorpion Infantry Support Vehicle

(...) D'oh! (...) Thanks, Admiral, sir. :) I don't like that those canopies don't open otherwise. I found it annoying. ;) (...) Indeed!   Re: Scorpion Infantry Support Vehicle

(...) Excellent work. The HISS was my first GI-Joe vehicle. :^) I love the implementation of the troop cabin and I also appreciate that you've made it so the cockpit hinges open.   Re: GI*Joe pictures

(...) Rick - do a search on eBay for GI JOE. I'll bet you'll find a lot of pics - I know I did when I was "Window shopping" a year or so ago..before deciding LEGO was the only hobby I could afford to stay into. :) Otherwise try searching on (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: My first smaller mech

Very cool! I agree with Travis, the use of mini-fig hands as teeth is really creative. BTW I'm suprised you didn't make some kind of banana-like gun for the "gorilla-mecha" to hold! ;-) (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: My first Sculptures, Super Giant Hello Kitty

(...) was homeported in Yokosuka aboard the USS Curtis Wilbur (DDG 54) from 1996-1999. Needless to say, I was overwhelmed by all the Hello Kitty stuff in the stores there. Your sculpture is among the best I've seen. Too bad there's no LEGOLAND in (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.build)

  My first smaller mech

Hey all. I finished my first "small" mecha. I decided a while ago to try and make a "buffed out" throwbot piece based mech. I was trying to capture the "feel" of a gorilla and still keep it a mecha. Obviously Optimus Primal influenced the design. (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Scorpion Infantry Support Vehicle

(...) Thanks, Rick. Since I don't have my GI JOE fig's anymore (sigh), I went off of memory. I'm pretty happy with how it came out. (...)   Re: Scorpion Infantry Support Vehicle

(...) Nice rendition of it! (Had to haul his out from the depths of the Closet Caves (...) Never thought of that! (...) I hated that. I mean, a HISS should be capable of holding 6 troops. (...) Okay GI*Jacobson Rick "Cobra-la-la-la-la-l...-la-LA!!!" (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Scorpion Infantry Support Vehicle

With the recent thread regarding the various custom minifigs (Specifically the Cobra ones) found on brickbay, it seemed like as good a time as any to begin putting these pictures up. I've had them for a while, waiting on inclusion in my regular (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: The Royal Train Website

Jon, I really need to add a "technical focus" section to the website. Yes, two loks can be run simultaneously although I havn't done this yet (with Lego that is. In Z scale it is routine). The overhead caternary does work but I don't advertise it (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build, lugnet.publish.photography)

Re: My first Sculptures, Super Giant Hello Kitty

(...) Did you do any internal bracing? I found that was very helpful in order to build sturdy sculptures. I used up a lot of the less important colors on internal bracing. As for what to do with the rest - green and red are the Christmas colors, so (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: The Royal Train Website

(...) Brian I'm impressed, Echoing all the other comments, I would also add that this is the first example I have seen of a LEGO railway that looks like a proper model railway (and to cap it all, it's not huge either!).
