(...) It's not *too* bad. The going rate on Ebay for standard colors is roughly $8-12 per 500 bricks. Other less standard colors (dark grey, tan, etc). And if you can find somebody that wants to get rid of 1, 2, maybe even 3,000 bricks it can be a (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.build)

(...) It does get expensive. What I do is focus on the facades & all *exposed* areas of the buliding. For example: a city block is say 8 buildings long, so they are right next to each other, so those sides that are not exposed, don't need windows & (...) Just completed an office block to go alongside my Metro Terminus (part of my grand Metro Plaza setup) However, it is far less ambitious than I first planned. I knew there was a reason I brought my LEGO collection home for break besides sorting the miscellaneous parts... This may come as a bit of an anticlimax after the Diablo, but I just finished a Miniland scale (12 wide) rendition of the time machine (...)
