Ahh, good point. They may still be added at the main distribution
center, but I suspect all the Belville sets are packaged at one facility
(there certainly aren't North American versions of the box). The slot
allows them to put the appropriate language book in once the destination
country is known. Of course the book could also be inserted when the
sets arrive at the destination country. I should have thought about that
given that the book is in English (it has text unlike the little
booklets for each princess).
