New on LEGO on my mind:

*Otherdam downtown*
Otherdam downtown is a LEGO version of an imaginary Dutch city block. Have a
look at a mix of old and new, along a typical canal.
Take a visual tour through town. Building tips will be added soon.

Also, ride along with Sally on her bike to check out the new LEGO brand
store in town. This little story is submitted as an entry to the
International System Creativity Contest of 1000Steine.

*Wybert home*
This is a remarkable suburbian home with slanted walls, which you can build
yourself from the supplied building instructions.

(...) Nicely done. I really like how most of the buildings have different colors for the walls, getting that chiped block look. Good work! (...) Neat. Have you submitted the instructions to the BI Portal? (URL) Spears MichLUG - (URL) Page - (URL) (22 years ago, 27-Nov-02, to lugnet.town)

(...) I didn't see it on ISCC II yet. But Wow! What a great presentation, I've just spent 10 minutes following all the zoom in and pan links and it's really splendid the way you have everything linked together, it adds a lot. And of course the (...) (22 years ago, 27-Nov-02, to lugnet.town)

(...) Wow - that is really a great entry for the ISCC II, Eric! You have raised the bar regarding the detailing and building technic once again and the way you set the pictures in sceene is simply brilliant. You have now banned so many of the small (...) (22 years ago, 27-Nov-02, to lugnet.town)

(...) Eric, That is a spectacular city, if the other entries int he ISCC approach that level of detail, it's going to be a great contest! Thanks, George (22 years ago, 27-Nov-02, to lugnet.town)

(...) Please use javascript sparingly. As far as I can tell it's used on these pages to assemble frames, which is unnecessary. Some people surf with JS turned off, because it's the medium through which much advertising, including pop-ups, is (...) (22 years ago, 27-Nov-02, to lugnet.town)

Hey, I saw the entry for the ISCC yesterday. One word - amazing. There are so many cool details. Each of the buildings is a cool MOC just by itself, so the overall picture is overwhelming. I especially like the one that is supposed to be more (...) (22 years ago, 27-Nov-02, to lugnet.town)

So nice, Eric. You realy caught the Dutch atmosphere (for instance, Sally does not signal direction when she turns a corner on her bike :-) very good are the funny "fallen into the water" incident, and the sheer variation in buiding styles and (...) (22 years ago, 27-Nov-02, to lugnet.town)
