Hi all,

I finally got around to building my own Scumcraft, and I must say to Jon,
it's one of the best designed small ships I've ever seen.  So, naturally, I
had to make it better. :-)

I introduce the SCHF-1 "Heavy Scum".  Minifigs can be seated in their comfy
leather seat in this model.  The major changes made to the original
Scumcraft design included seating the fig, accomplished by lengthening the
nose 1 stud to allow for just a wee bit more room in the cockpit.  The
canopy is still aligned with the sloped surface, but is just *barely*
gapped.  Still looks ok, IMO.

Also, I beefed up the design, hence heavy fighter.  Additional engines were
added, a larger fuel cell, big ol' missiles, and two (Jeremy, sit down :-)
cargo holds.

Take a look here:

I like the mods and beefing up you did. I also like the choice of equipment the pilot has...guns, knife, suitcase?:) Well done. Joe Meno (22 years ago, 27-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)

Dude I just saw this. SWEET! I love the little added boosters on the wings (I love the opposing angles that they create with the main engine) - the storage compartments are a *great* touch. I'm going to have to make some modifications to mine now. (...) (22 years ago, 27-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)
