Hi all, After a long period of not building much, I finally got around to making something new: A model of Seminole Trail Volunteer Fire Department's (URL) Engine 82>, a 1993 Pierce. (URL) I volunteer at this station, so I took some pics in its (...) (19 years ago, 19-May-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town, FTX) !

(...) Hi Roy, I like it a lot. The wheel base looks a little longer than the prototype but it gives a good feel to your version just the same. The length of the cab looks great! (...) Roy, Very nice, really captures the flavor of the real deal. Looking at the pics on the stvfd.org website and your Brickshelf gallery I'd have to say I prefer the updated extended bumper with the hose bed and pre-connect (seen in (URL) and (...) (19 years ago, 19-May-06, to lugnet.town)

(...) Thanks! Actually, that's the bumper of another of our engines, E84. E82 (the one the model is based on) has just a flat bumper, hence the one on the model. As for the wheelbase - you're right about that. I think I should remove one stud from (...) (19 years ago, 19-May-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

(...) Great to see another rig added to the fleet! Very nice work, indeed! I especially like some of the details on the back (hose connection, traffic cone, etc.).
