Greetings all!

Just finished my latest Battlemech. I don't usually build them so close
together, but the creative urge hit me again. I had to run with it, and yes, I
freely admit I am obsessed with triangles at the moment!

As per usual, the stats here are represented in terms of the game of Battletech.

Mass: 55 tons
Cruising speed: 43.2kph (4 hexes)
Maximum  speed: 64.8kph (6 hexes)
Jump range : 120m (4 hexes)

Armament
1-Rotary Autocannon/2
2-Advanced Tactical Missile 3
1-Extended Range Particle Projection Cannon
1-Streak SRM4

Total Armor points: 185

Max heat buildup: 32
Heat dissipation: 28

So, without further rambling I present to you, The Talon!

There are a few interesting features that are new on this mech.

A ladder system for the pilot to use while on the battlefield.

A triangular cockpit design that can be split open along one side.

Questions and constructive criticism welcome as always!

Coolness, there havn't been many published Mechs using these new colors. Check out how the cockpit opens! Nice parts on the shoulders, trick feet. I see you have an ankle splay? Cool canopy there too. Interesting design, go triangles! Fast build? e (19 years ago, 8-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) To me The Talon is one of your best mechs so far. Spotlighted! (URL) Marco> (19 years ago, 9-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Nice. The Bley/Grey look works well on a mech. It gives it that metallic utilitarian look. This mech says it means business - and is design for close range destruction (with the large heavy weight arms - good for smashing), while having serious (...) (19 years ago, 9-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) You're so kind to your mech pilots, giving them a way to climb in and out of the cockpit! A well-armed mech, maxing out the medium weight class tonnage, this looks like one I'd pick to play in a video game (when do we get a MW5? It's been (...) (19 years ago, 11-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) I love the overall shape. Especially the rounded areas. And the feet vaugely remind me of an Invid from Macross. Colors are working well too. Just a clean well done mecha. (19 years ago, 12-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)
