Hello All,

Consider this my humble addition to the pantheon of space sig-figs: Gip Metro.

I want to address a few things:
  • I am aware the Dr Terrible fig is not true to the original. Tim has seen the fig and given me his approval. In his own words, “I hate it.” That might sound negative to those of you who don’t know Tim, but you have to understand his subtle nuances.
  • My wife and I subscribe to a lot of magazines at home. I find the style of pop-magazine writing quite hilarious. So, the comic is meant to be self-depreciating (my metro ways have been a running joke at BrickFest) and also makes fun of what I like to call Magazine Smarts. If you don’t understand what I mean by that, have a conversation with a 13 year old girl. When you encounter adults with the same interests and education level-- thats magazine smarts.
  • I am no fan of Ben Afflek.
Felix Greco

(...) That made me laugh! The Metro Sect Two stuff is way forced, but that just added to the charm. Dr. Terrible is amazing! As soon as i noticed the lipstick on the minions I was hearing the theme from "In Like Flint". OK, Derek Flint was the (...) (19 years ago, 24-Nov-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

I'm about as tired and stressed as can be so well done for raising a hearty laugh from this wizened old cynic! I look forward to more narcissistic internal monologues from Gip Metro. -Alex (19 years ago, 24-Nov-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Any chance you'll post more pictures of those red ships that were chasing Gip? They look pretty sweet, and it would be a shame if we only had that one picture with them in the background to gaze upon. And how do you pronounce "Gip"? Is it a (...) (...) Fantastic job on the comic, Felix! I laughed so hard my strawberry-mango lo-carb protein drink came out my nose, which really made a mess of my Banana Republic Angel Blue Gradient Stripe shirt. Gip's ship is cool, and I love your characters. (...) (19 years ago, 25-Nov-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)
