| | Hi friends, I've got another moc of my litlle town. It is a big old house of my hometown, called "the german house", build by the merchandiser Jobst Wulfert. One the best representives of the "Weser-Renaissance"-period. Built in 1560. Here are the (...) (20 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

And those trams are great, even if they are a trifle (ahem) wide. :) Are those tiles white or tan? (...) (20 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, FTX)

| | | | | Hi Larry, thanks for your reply and your compliments. (...) The tram is built after a plan and should be a little shorter rather then smaller. But this a good compromise, in my opinion. (...) The building is tan and light-yellow coloured, The tiles (...) (20 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

| | | | (...) Hello! This is wonderful! I love all the details in the building and surrounding scene as well. Love the fence around the park. Really like the trams as well. Looks like you used the new dark grey color on the roof of the trams and it works (...) (20 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

| | | | | Hi Jonathan, (...) No, here you are wrong. It is the old dark grey color. May be, it was a little to much sun, when I took these photos. But I use the new color as well. For me, that is no problem. Andreas Böker (abhf) (20 years ago, 22-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

| | | | (...) I did enjoy it, you captured the ornate details on the facade well. Pity LEGO doesn't make terracotta roof tiles, the red looks too new, but what can we do :^) Plus LEGO has enough colours already (or so I'm told). I would have gone for a (...) | | | | | Hi Pete, thanks for your reply. Some short answers: (...) I bought new and used slopes for the roof an I mixed them very well. But - you are right - the roof looks quite new. I tried to use mixed colors on the roof, but this was too jumbled up. (...) (20 years ago, 23-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

I really enjoy seeing these detailed scenes, where builders include details of the streets, plazas, etc. The only problem is that each one I see inspires me to build my next town MOC at a (...) | | | | | Hi Roy, thank you so much for your compliments. (...) You will see more.... The two houses are part of a larger display for our next event in Germany, the 1000steine-Land in Berlin. I'm working on a display of 8x8 baseplate 48x48 studs. Some other (...) (20 years ago, 23-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)
