Jade Empire fighter - Sinicus —Steve Runnels
It's late, I'm tired, I wouldn't have anything to say anyway, so here it is. :P (URL) Some needed representation for the Jade Empire... (URL) --(URL) SteveR> (20 years ago, 3-Apr-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, FTX) !

Re: Jade Empire fighter - Sinicus —Joseph Kazmo
(...) Oooh ! That is so slick Steve.. The shape is just amazing, and color scheme is wonderful. And those back-engines are just dangerous ! It's a wonderful little craft.. BTW, are those black bricks (in picture # 10) retractable landing gear ? (...) (20 years ago, 3-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Nice hovercar. ;-) That landing gear solution is interesting. I like the controls too. It looks a little bare on either side of the driver's seat, though - maybe some side instrument panels? Cheers, (URL) Sci-Fi LEGO> (20 years ago, 3-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Jade Empire fighter - Sinicus —Steve Runnels
(...) I was thinking the same thing, it's just the right size and profile to be a hovercar too. (...) The landing 'pads' were an afterthought, as usual. Have to give the landing gear soapbox'ers something every once and awhile. :P I would have liked (...) (20 years ago, 3-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Even fits langing gear- great! where did the canopy come from? I looked on peeron & (...) (20 years ago, 3-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Thanks! The canopy is from Jack Stone. It's in a number of sets, in different colors. --(URL) SteveR> (20 years ago, 3-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Jade Empire fighter - Sinicus —Leonard Hoffman
(...) Steve, this thing is pretty darn sweet. I especially like how you did the engines. Not really feeling the landing gear, but that is okay. Overall, pretty dern cool. (20 years ago, 4-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Jade Empire fighter - Sinicus —Ley Ward
(...) Snip (...) Excellent Steve. Of course we'd expect no less from you. I really like the way you used that canopy. Like many other overlooked parts, all it takes is one cool MOC to make them desirable. I suspect sales of Jack Stone will be up (...) (20 years ago, 5-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Jade Empire fighter - Sinicus —Steve Runnels
(...) Thanks! I actually used that canopy in a similiar way right after the jack stone stuff came out a few years ago. Always thought it was a great canopy, especially when you tilt it back for the low profile. (URL) (...) Yeah, I just build em. (...) (20 years ago, 5-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Jade Empire fighter - Sinicus —Tony Hafner
(...) I love the colors, the shape, and the seemingly-effortless quality to the studless exterior. The engines and interior are great as well. There are no good shots of the bottom, but the landing gear shots make it look like the underside isn't (...) (20 years ago, 5-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Jade Empire fighter - Sinicus —Steve Runnels
(...) Thanks! Actually, the studlessness mostly happened on it's own with this one. :D (...) Yeah, only thing down there are the underside of plates, and the landing gear which is purposely black so that they're hidden in its shadow. (...) Ah, well (...)         Re: Jade Empire fighter - Sinicus —Jean-Pascal Rignault
Very nice ship Steve! As many have said before, very nice use of these sand-green slopes. The overall shape is very smooth, it really make me think of a hover car, maybe a Porsche! So, the Jade Empire is building propaganda around race tracks??? (...) (20 years ago, 6-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

   (...) It's small...clever....sleek - how could I not be into it? Bombin'. -G (20 years ago, 12-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
