(...) don't know who Emeril is? Check out "Emeril Live" on FoodTV - not just another cooking show...) The idea of making it come apart into slices is brilliant! How are the slices held in place, though, before they are removed? Can you take more (...) (23 years ago, 8-Apr-02, to lugnet.build)

The outer ring of pieces are held by a few studded plates along the baseplate. Those outer pieces 'corral' the interior slices in. I have a new picture showing the six removed slices, and how the would fill the missing wedge: (...) (23 years ago, 9-Apr-02, to lugnet.build)

(...) that way with a real cake? I have never noticed that manner of slicing in a real cake, but I don't go to many big weddings. Very ingenious. Any customers for it yet? Would the slices be glued? --Bill. (23 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.build)
