This is the first space vehicle Ive built in over four years.
The news of Travis Kunces death shook me, as it did everyone else here. My
favorite creations of his are the 80s TV hover vehicles that he created for the
Dukes of Hazzard and the A-Team. So I sat down today and decided to build a
tribute vehicle...but of course, it needed to be fairly irreverent and yet still
true to the style of his creations...well, heres what I came up with.
The Tanner family took in an alien from the doomed planet Melmac; his name was
ALF. While ALF rarely left the Tanner home, on infrequent occasions Willie
Tanner would drive the family station wagon out and about with an incognito ALF
along for the ride. This is a Travis Kunce style hover version of Willie
Tanners station wagon.
Ive tried to implement many of the iconic Kunce features in this vehicle. This
includes the engine positioning, the not-studless-but-still-pretty-smooth
exterior, the sloping hood with curved edges, and--last but not least--the
non-detailed interior.

While its certainly not in Travs league, Im okay with the results. It was
really weird building this; while building it I was sad and happy at the same
time...
To the good times.
