Been quite a while since Ive posted to lugnet and actually months since Ive
built anything. However I was recently inspired by the Crimson Skies aricraft
Ive seen popping up and finally got around to building my own.
While I dont have background stories or anything very technical to say about
these ships, I can say that the first built was The Kestrel
Which, with its two wing mounted cannons, four machine guns grouped in the nose,
and four rockets underneath strikes me as more of a ground attack fighter. The
bent wings dont show up well on the pictures, especially since they sag more
than Id like :(
The second ship - Coronado, seems more of a dogfighter or escort craft.
It features six rockets, two medium sized machine guns on the belly and two big
honkin machine guns on the wings. It seems a tad long, and isnt as prety as
the Kestrel, but I imagine it gets the job done.
Thanks for reading / viewing / responding,
TRS
