Hi, This is my first lugnet post though I have been lurking for awhile. I thought I would share a MOC I recently created. The Galaxy Defender is a Classic Space themed long endurance patrol/fighter craft. The general backstory is that this ship is a (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, FTX) !

Doug, great MOC! Hi swoosh factor, especially for such a large craft. At first glance, I thought it was just a small fighter craft, but then I realized that it's really quite large! Nice detailing work on the greeblies. I like the slightly angled (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Thanks, the defender turned out to be quite sturdy and is very swoosh-able. The only problem is with its blended wing-body shape, it is hard to find a good point to hold it by. (...) Doug- Outstanding! I love everything about this from tip to tail!!! It has an excellent, flowing look to it, with great greebling and a sharp design. (...) Thanks. I am pretty negligent when it comes to equiping my ships with landing gear. This one would have been really hard to do and maintain its clean lines. I may try to re-work it someday.
