I am happy to announce that the Brickshelf Instuction Library will be coming back online soon. Kevin Loch has asked us, and we agreed, to host it at Peeron.com. Since we have to write a new interface for the library, it is not ready yet to go live, (...) I have great news! By special arrangement, LEGO has made PDF versions of building instructions available through Brickshelf.com. Initially, this includes all pdf instructions through 2000, and we hope to receive newer instructions at appropriate (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.announce.brickshelf) !!

The Brickshelf Gallery now contains over 250,000 pictures and files showing what people have done with LEGO products. The Gallery currently gets ~220,000 page views per day from about 20,000 unique IP addresses. If the Gallery is any indication, (...) (21 years ago, 17-Mar-03, to lugnet.announce.brickshelf) !!

The search function is back, faster and better than before. It now searches folder names, folder keywords, folder descriptions and file names. It now only matches exact strings instead of substrings. I am pleased to announce that it is now possible to edit folder descriptions and folder keywords in the Brickshelf gallery. Um, I have a question. Our Views get updated every night at midnight right? So I was stunned to see when I uploaded some new pix to a new folder last night after midnight that the number of Views were updated when I looked at my folder this (...) The gallery now uses META Refresh tags instead of javascript for redirects. This is only used when a folder is created, uploaded to or thumbnails are re-created. Let me know if this causes/fixes any problems. KL (22 years ago, 8-Apr-02, to lugnet.announce.brickshelf)
