  Logitech Animation Demo

The Logitech QuickCam comes with an animation demo file that uses LEGO in a few places. The original avi is about 7.5MB, so I chopped it up a little and saved it as a lower quality wmv file (380KB): (URL) Doucette. MISB sets at DoucetteNet LEGO® on (...)   Re: Question...

Thanks, I can't wait to read it. I did find a place in Cambridge that'll do it. Now I just have to collect my movies and get down there. Thanks Eric, I just punched in "Video Transfer" @ bigyellow.com (which is something else now, superpages?) and I (...) (24 years ago, 6-Apr-01, to lugnet.animation)

  Re: Question...

I'm sorry I can't help you with the Super-8 question. I THINK this can be done with a video capture card, but I'm not sure how Super-8 works. But if you liked Andy's work, I just finished interviewing him and the article will be on <a (...) (24 years ago, 6-Apr-01, to lugnet.animation)

  Re: Question...

(...) There are lots of places that will transfer Super-8 films to video. If you have trouble finding one just by poking around the yellow pages, check the 8mm film section on eBay- people often advertise that service there. Yes, it's against eBay's (...)   Question...

Wow. I just watched Andy Thornbery's "The Thing" and was blown away. That and his "The LEGO Chainsaw Massacre" are just great. I've always been a huge fan of stop-motion animation. It makes me want to run home and buy a camera, some equipment, clear (...) (24 years ago, 5-Apr-01, to lugnet.animation)

  Re: Behind the scenes pics...

30 minutes, or 1/3. That's a total rough estimate. Gods, I hope it's not longer. I'm trying to limit scope so I can get it finished, but it seems It need that much to tell the story. The script is 34 pages and 22 scenes, and I have I think 8 scenes (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.animation, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Behind the scenes pics...

Yep, it's true. I've got about 25-30 minutes filmed so far, but as we all know, filming and editing/post production are a big difference. I'm trying to limit scope so I can get it done. Jason (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.animation, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Behind the scenes pics...

(...) Just curious - just how MUCH of that 1.5 hours do you already have done? Or is that just something you would like it to be? Quite a project if you ask me :) -- Pawel (24 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.animation, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Behind the scenes pics...

  Re: Behind the scenes pics...

(...) Hey Jason, I had no idea what an owlbear was so I did a quick search and found this picture. (URL) think your owlbear is awesome. I love the colors and the backwards bent legs. Todd (24 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.animation, lugnet.castle)
