Wow.
I just watched Andy Thornbery's "The Thing" and was blown away. That and his
"The LEGO Chainsaw Massacre" are just great. I've always been a huge
fan of stop-motion animation. It makes me want to run home and buy a camera,
some equipment, clear some space... convince my wife..er... maybe not.
But I do remember making a Lego Super-8 film when I was a kid. Does anyone know
how I would go about transferring it to video? I'd like to run it through the
computer and add some effects.

If you have trouble finding one just by poking around the yellow pages, check the 8mm film section on eBay- people often advertise that service there. Yes, it's against eBay's (...) | I'm sorry I can't help you with the Super-8 question. I THINK this can be done with a video capture card, but I'm not sure how Super-8 works. But if you liked Andy's work, I just finished interviewing him and the article will be on <a (...) (24 years ago, 6-Apr-01, to lugnet.animation)
