Wow.

I just watched Andy Thornbery's "The Thing" and was blown away. That and his
"The LEGO Chainsaw Massacre" are just great. I've always been a huge
fan of stop-motion animation. It makes me want to run home and buy a camera,
some equipment, clear some space... convince my wife..er... maybe not.

But I do remember making a Lego Super-8 film when I was a kid. Does anyone know
how I would go about transferring it to video? I'd like to run it through the
computer and add some effects.

(...) There are lots of places that will transfer Super-8 films to video. If you have trouble finding one just by poking around the yellow pages, check the 8mm film section on eBay- people often advertise that service there. Yes, it's against eBay's (...) I'm sorry I can't help you with the Super-8 question. I THINK this can be done with a video capture card, but I'm not sure how Super-8 works. But if you liked Andy's work, I just finished interviewing him and the article will be on <a (...) (24 years ago, 6-Apr-01, to lugnet.animation)
