The set is copyright 1999, the treasure piece is actually gold-colored. I'm
in Pueblo, Colorado, USA. Found it at 7-11 on the corner of Orman and Northern
Avenues, across the street from the Convergys call-center where I work. Today
I bought the other Jungle Surprise set that was there. They started with 3 of
them and I got 2 of them. I am unfamiliar with the Amazon/Adventurers sets.
These were the first sets I've got in a long time that were not Technic,
Mindstorms or Star Wars. I love buying LEGO in convenience stores. Last year,
I got a Star Wars landspeeder at the 7-11 on my way home from church one
Sunday.

| (...) I'm guessing this is Adventurers set then? What copyright date is shown on the box? 2000 or 1999? Is the treasure piece really silver colored or is it gold colored? Is it the traditional Amazon-Adventurers medallion? Female fig in a $2.99 (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.adventurers)
