| | | After watching "Raiders" again for the umpteenth time, I made a quick sketch of the flying wing and then proceeded to build it (with Indy getting beaten up in the background). | | | | (...) Excellent idea. As you write the best part is the rear gunner. I am looking forward to seing more pictures. However I think that the planform is too straight. The plane in Temple of Doom does look like a very heavily modified Horten wing, so if you dig around on Luft46 you should be able to get the specific geometries in drawings. I have tried building wings with SNOT before with reasonable success: (URL) I hadn't thought about SNOT when I was building "the wing" but I think it would allow for more tapering.
