Where online can one find historical info?

Hi all I just decided I liked Adventurers a week ago and have decided to attempt to make an historical dig and train befitting the era. Does anyone know where I could find pictures of this sort of thing online? Cheers Tim (24 years ago, 3-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

There is now just over 24 hours to participate in the vote for the Favorite Adventurers Minifig. Just visit www.geocities.com/En...urers.html and select an option in the pop window. Christian (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.announce)

  Police/Authority figures?

has anyone built Police/Authority figures to try to stop people stealing their countrys tresures? -James Walker (24 years ago, 25-Jun-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Idea for new theme

(...) I think this would be excellent also! Given the specialized head gear, pharoah figs, and graphics of the Egyptian adventurer sets, I actually thought that Lego Castle was going to go retro and do a ancient egyptian theme...So far I have been (...)   Re: Idea for new theme

(...) This is a GREAT idea! I can imagine other ancient cultures as well, but Egyptian would easily be my favourite. -- David Schilling (24 years ago, 24-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Idea for new theme

Aside from the action possibilities, an 'Ancient Egypt' theme would make Ancient something besides a fan-created theme. Yes, if you aren't aware, check out (URL) nobody was happy enough with their pyramid to put it in there. (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Idea for new theme

(...) OOOOHHH!! James I like the way you think!!. Now there's a theme with room for expansion. Nile barges, pyramids with secret openings, mummies that you can unwrap and rewrap. I hope Lego is paying attention. (24 years ago, 24-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.adventurers)

  Idea for new theme

I think that lego should releise a new theme involving egypt without the adventurers. The theme could have high preists and egyptian queens. it would have lots of new buildings. Then you could take the hats off the minifigs and put them on (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.adventurers)

Re: What lies ahead for Adventurers?

Re: What lies ahead for Adventurers?

(...) You do realize that the possibilities are endless. The Adventurer's theme could be a complete replacement for Time Twisters, (TT). They could revive Islanders, and Pirate/Divers, Castle, and Wild West. It definately would be great if they (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jun-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  What lies ahead for Adventurers?

Hi, The title says it all. Maybe some new adventurers themes could be outback, Mt. everest(yeti figs!), greek/roman ruins, castle ruins, american indian, lost civilzations, mythical civilizations, persian lego(sultan figs!) . Let me know what you (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: surplus officers (was "Re: Pirate minifig question")

(...) It works OK if you put the backpack on first, then epaulettes on top, then the head. (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.adventurers)

Re: surplus officers (was "Re: Pirate minifig question")

(...) Hmm... have you tried to raise the head a bit over the backpack? That might help a bit... -Shiri (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.adventurers)

surplus officers (was "Re: Pirate minifig question")

(...) Swap out their Tricorn Caps for Pith Helmets, and have 'em guard the Brikish East India Company. :-) Unfortunately, the Pith Helmet doesn't work well at all with the (Non-Opening) Backpack. :-( Franklin (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: musuem?

(...) <snip> I don't. I tried once, but found it hard because... a. TLC doesn't make any blonde hair (and my hair is *not* tan :-) b. they don't make any low-ponytail hair, or alternatively more-than-shoulder- length hair. So sure, I could make some (...)   Re: musuem?

I've thought of it. But started a small home in the theme of ancient ruins for the moment. We have minifig representations of us (who doesn't) inside our ideal ruinish home complete with fireplace amongst the hieroglyphs. I should work on it more (...)   Re: museum?

(...) Try Richard Parson's Brickish Museum of Natural History (URL) an exterior but somehow I don't think that's what you meant. James (who was lucky enough to visit the museum earlier this year) (24 years ago, 17-Jun-00, to lugnet.adventurers)
