  Re: Auctions cooling off?

(...) Both of those (and other Adventurers) sets have been sold at fairly good clearance prices lately both online and at b&m stores. I paid $14 for most of my 5958's but got some for $10. Never noticed the other set on deep clearance, but with a (...) (25 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

Improper Mold Use (was Re: New 2000 Sets from S@H)

(...) I can't believe that TLG used Dragon arms on the T-Rex, shame shame. It ain't gonna kill 'em to make a mold that doesn't have "spikes" on the arms! -Chris (25 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

Followups set to lugnet.market.theory. (...) I don't know about you, but I'm keeping my wallet in my pocket until I get a chance to see what Brad Justus' much-ballyhooed Lego Direct will be offering us... -- John J.   Re: New dragon breeds

(...) *Slide from the shadows* Nope, the legs stick out the back. I do think it does support that it has a block like bottom. I can't think of any animals yet that cannot be "locked down," fortuently. :) *Slide back into the shadows* (...) (25 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: New dragon breeds

(...) Hmmm... maybe it's one of two plates, meant to be legs? I hope so! I'll be thrilled if that pterodactyl (1) has those two-stud bottom (like the shark). That means you can station the pterodactyl on a building, or in midair... kewl! -Shiri (1) (...) (25 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: New dragon breeds

(...) If ya look close at the pterodactyl, you can make out what I think is a 1x1 round yellow plate. No clue as to what these are for, seeing as how its feet stick out behind it. If it IS a plate, then the answer to the brick bottom mold is yes. (...) (25 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: New dragon breeds

(...) I don't know... but if they are not too thick, they probably will have a brick- bottom molded on the bottom... maybe... That would be very cool, yes... I can picture my renedition of the witch's windship, adapted to a pteradactyl (sp?)... <set (...) (25 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: New dragon breeds

The pteradactyls (sp...=)) Could carry minifigs under them, sort of like a hangglider, i was thinking. How cool would it be to see a flight dark knights swoop down, each carried by a pteradactyl? I havent seen a good picture of them lately, but im (...) (25 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers)
