  Set 5909 - reprise . . .
 
First off, I just want to thank everybody who responded to my first post about set 5909 (the tan bi-plane). Everybody has been a lot of help! I've heard from a few people that this was a TRU exclusive, packaged with some sort of case, or something, (...) (26 years ago, 19-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

I think it was a 1998-only set. Here in Canada (I don't know about the US) it comes with a mummy-shaped lego carrying-case. (...) little (...) This is a very hard set to find. I got mine from the Construction Site (www.constructiontoys.com) for $19.90 back in September. It was available in limited quanities back then so I dont know if any are still available. Rich (26 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers)
