(...) Or removing it entirely! I wanna see the flathead! :) The whole rod would look nice in bley too - the whole primered effect. Neat cars, Elroy! Darrell (20 years ago, 14-Mar-05, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Evolution of a Street Rod

(...) Elroy, These are real sleek, and fit in well with the whole Adventurer's theme, well, I'm not sure about the hot rod, unless it's for Johnny Thunder In Search of the Lost Pink Slip. But anyhow, these are real neat, and look to be loads of fun (...) (20 years ago, 14-Mar-05, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.town, FTX)

Oh man, I just love those! I have to make one for my town! Funny thing, while looking at the pics, I was thinking to myself that I should make one red, only to read that it's your intention as well! Oh well, I guess great minds always meet ;) Terry (20 years ago, 14-Mar-05, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: AoJT3: Johnny Thunder and the King of the Gypsies (Update March 13)

Sorry for the long delay with the next installment, but I've hit a patch of real busy-ness with school and a bit of writer's block too. So the story has really stalled. I've been holding these 4 in reserve because I figured this would happen. Anyhow (...) (20 years ago, 13-Mar-05, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.general)

Re: Evolution of a Street Rod

SNIPPY Man, I saw these today on BS and I loved them. I like the tuned version more, naturally ;-) I like the backstory too, its cute. One gripe: I think you need to swap the roofs of the 2 cars. IMO, the 4x4 tile would look better on the older one, (...) (20 years ago, 13-Mar-05, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Evolution of a Street Rod

I built a couple of cars this weekend. I originally sat down to build an Adventurer's themed car to go with a night club MOC that I'm working on. The result turned out looking more like one of those thin racing cars from the 30's. Not happy with the (...) (20 years ago, 13-Mar-05, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.town, FTX)
