(...) (URL) (...) The imagination here is breathtaking. I love the statues and especially the attention to all the details inside of the temple! Christian (21 years ago, 6-Dec-03, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: Tan 1920'ies Racer - Monthly MOC's resumed

(...) Thank you. I am glad that you remember my MOC's. I admit that the hood is long, but that is part of the slender torpedo-like look I intended. Hello, I've always wanted to use that old blue hull from my 4015 set... Johnny Thunder knows that Old Bill is not just a fisherman. Bill is using his rusty boat to smuggle weapons, explosives and whisky in secret compartments under cargo hatch and (...) (...) Glad you're back! Your feature was missed! I think the coffin actually works pretty well in this application, although even for a racer the hood feels a little long. Nice work. Spotlighted. (21 years ago, 5-Dec-03, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Wow the imagination here is amazing. details I like include minifig skirts/robes made by using another (armless) torso instead of legs, the inside of the temple, the crowds on the street, actually; everything! Tim Spotlighted (21 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

(...) This is an incredibly well-built and detailed scene. I love the statues, the monks, the dragon parade, the pagoda and the temple. Even the clever elephant head addition to the dinosaur body is incredible. Great use of the Lego primary colors (...) (21 years ago, 21-Nov-03, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: Captain Crash's Red Rocket 2

(...) Thanks a lot! It's actually been so long since I built this one, I failed to reproduce it when I went to build a second recently! I've got to pull it apart a little to reimind myself of the 'round' patterns. Once you get going though, it (...) (21 years ago, 5-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.adventurers)
