  Re: Mayan Temple

(...) Dude, that's great - I love the bas-reliefs. You should've entered something like this in the ISCC Adventurer's catagory. I made something sort of related to this way back when, but it looks *so* dull now compared to yours: (URL) us know if (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jan-02, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Mayan Temple

(...) AH! That's INSANELY clever...great job (...) Good choice for general heiroglyphics. Also...it's all playsetty...very neat! Matt (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Mayan Temple

Matthew, Here's a close up of the columns. (URL) heads of the bas relief are joints from a throwbot. All of the columns now have naboo tiles. B. (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Mayan Temple

(...) Wow...quite nice! Love the bas relief details...great use of parts. Any chance to see the figures in the columns close up (I see Martian bodies, but can't make out the heads)? And the colors are wonderful... Achu must be very happy there! Matt (23 years ago, 9-Jan-02, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Jurassicpark Monorail

Hi ! Thanks for the comments. Yes, the Dinos in (URL) made in the same way. They look like some kind of Polacanthus. I will try to make an LDRAW-file and additional images. And I think the Kaduus in (URL) like Gallemimus in JP1. I wanted to build (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.adventurers)

Monthly MOC: Heinkel He-162A-2 (German WWII jet fighter)

I have uploaded pictures of my model of a Heinkel He-162A-2, a German jet fighter that was hurriedly produced as a last ditch effort during the last months of the war.   Re: Jurassicpark Monorail

(...) I really enjoyed the ride in the Jurassic Park Monorail! Very good idea and nicely done. I like the neck frill/body of those small dinos below the train in theses shots: (URL) the dinos off to the the left on this shot (URL) in the same way? (...)   Re: Jurassicpark Monorail

(...) Looks awesome! Are you planning to add more to it, or is this the finished version? I love the bones that are spread out and the mat that you used to lay it all out on. This has got to be taking up some major space wherever it is... -- Pawel (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Adventurer's ISCC Entry

(...) Some of the details I love: The tire for a cowling for the biplane. The grey hands representing ammo clips on the guns. The tires for big, fuzzy hats. Thanks a lot, I hope there's a part II. George (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Adventurer's ISCC Entry

(...) Thanks Greg, I appreciate it. Yeah, the story is really the result of trying to figure out a way to link the biplane and statue together. I *really* had been planning on building some kind of German plane, but then a very nice Ju-52 was (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Adventurer's ISCC Entry

(...) Thanks for the nice comments, I appreciate it. I got my dk grey hands from the Boba Fett figure, if you can still find them around. Target was selling them cheaply a few weeks ago. And yeah, I guess it it is kind of funny, though the spelling (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Adventurer's ISCC Entry

(...) Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind comments. I actually had split the story up to avoid having the 350k of images load on a single page (to have mercy on the dial-up folks), but I'm glad to hear it added to the presentation. Since there seems (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Adventurer's ISCC Entry

(...) Thanks, I appreciate it. Yeah, I think Lego really blew it with the potential of Adventurers, but there's stil a lot that can be done with it. I'll definitely add more when I get a chance. Thanks, Gary (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Adventurer's ISCC Entry

Hey Gary, I thought your site was great! Super job in creating the statue and the plane. You have did a superb job with color and design. I would like to see more. Makes me miss the adventurers sets all that much more... Keep up the good work! Tom (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Adventurer's ISCC Entry

(...) I got some dark grey hands with the stuntman in the LEGO Studios Backdrop set (1351). You might check some other sets in this theme to see if this is common with the stuntman figures. Greg (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build.contests)
