To answer both of the connection questions: 1. Connecting via the stud will force the cahin to make a "bend" to get through the tail, and when placing the chain straight, the scorpion will then be slightly rotated around the y-axis (sorry, done too (...) (24 years ago, 28-Oct-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

(...) This has got to be one of the weirdest things I have ever seen built with bricks -- but I like it! Why didn't you just chain the scorpians via their handy top pegs though?
