Hello!
Being a Playmobil-lover I always felt somewhat to be the odd one out at AFOL
meetings. For many years Playmobil has been one of my most important
inspirations for building with LEGO. There are so many things in the Playmobil
universe that were never made by TLC, and a not too small amount of my own MOCs
is based on archetypes from Playmobil. However, amongst other AFOLs it always
seems to be a bit out of place to like both LEGO and Playmobil.
For this reason I’d very much like to have a place to meet other devoted LEGO
supporters who also have a weakness for Playmobil to share our thoughts, to feel
understood and not singled out. It would be great if it was possible to
incorporate a newsgroup lugnet.playmobil where we playmo lovers could swap our
ideas and feelings for Playmobil without distracting anybody else from the main
topic of this great community site. Of course everybody would be wholeheartedly
welcome to chime in and feel at home even if he/she/undetermined doesn’t have
any feelings - positive or negative - towards Playmobil or has never had
experiences with Playmobil at all.
Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated as well as any form of
support!

I do enjoy watching her and sometimes I like getting involved when she is playing. I wonder though, how my kids will grow up, seeing (...) If so, such discussion would be entirely appropriate in lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, and if there is enough interest and traffic in that group, perhaps creating (...)
