Small request: Could you make the links to candidates for Cool Site appear
in a new window?

Right mouse click on the link and choose "Open in new window" doesn't work
for you?

I often check out those sites and find it annoying the take
over the Lugnet window, making it tricky to get back.

Using the back button doesn't work for you?

Hm... you may want to consider getting a new browser if those features
aren't working.

I'd prefer that Lugnet(tm) NOT decide that a new window is needed. Let me
choose for myself whether I want one or not. Sometimes I do, sometimes I
don't

Ya, what Larry said.

Ronald, I'm curious what web browser you're using.

Currently, the best web browser (IMHO) is the latest Mozilla with tabbed
browsing.  And in the Preferences > Navigator > Tabbed Browsing dialog, you
can even check [x] Load links in the background -- which doesn't really load
them in the background, but means that it opens them in a new tab but doesn't
switch to that tab until you click on it.  That way it can start loading while
you continue on the current page.  I use it all the time to pull up multiple
windows in rapid succession, let them all load, and then go through them one
by one.  It's awesome -- you should try it!  It's so fast and beautiful!

I'll give Mozilla a try. I usually browse with IE6 as it's the default in work, occasionally I switch to Opera. Haven't tried Mozilla yet. Don't worry, I know the right mouse click, but the back button often does not work as it should. Besides, when (...) (22 years ago, 7-Dec-02, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.admin.suggestions)
