I was thinking of the state level for more non-organisation type stuff, like
"Fred's toys in Smith St has XXXX set for $20" stuff. If it's likely to be
of interest to anyone outside the state, cross-post to .loc.au. The state
groups would probably be fairly low-traffic (as they are currently).
I would see "who's booking the meeting hall?" going in the org.au.MUG (or
whatever) group, as this is more organisation related. Of course, if it's
not a user-group meeting, the .loc.au.xxx group would be more appropriate.
