Hi!
I'm trying to change my email address (the one that is
reported in my news postings) from juergen@mpi-sb.mpg.de
to stuber@loria.fr, but I'm having no luck.
I tried
DATA:
True Name: Juergen Stuber
True E-mail: stuber@loria.fr
News Name: Juergen Stuber
News E-mail: stuber@loria.fr
which goes through but has no effect.
Then I thought the NNTP server might be looking at the sender,
which is juergen@lundi. lundi is my private notebook,
I'm `juergen' there but `stuber' on LORIA's systems.
When I try that the setup complains

| (...) Hello Juergen, When you say "has no effect," what did you expect to happen? That is, what did you do which had no effect but should have? (...) It looks like you're all set -- you just need to get your newsreader to send the following 'From:' (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.admin.nntp)
