Me too -- they belong right alongside regular Bionicle discussions, IMHO.
The funny thing is, they belong more in a lugnet.debate than they do in
lugnet.off-topic.debate. I haven't been successful yet (ever) at getting
people not to have LEGO debates in .off-topic.debate. This would pretty
much make sure that doesn't happen anymore, and if any really stinky debates
move their from their original theme group (or wherever they started), I
think that's probably OK. They'd be likelye to move once somebody realized
or spoke up that they were getting stinky.

Wow, a case in point! -- someone who still detests auctions in this day and
age. :)
OK...well, along those lines, as we kicked about in November, we -could-
have subgroups of .forsale -- one for auctions and one for straight sales.
The sticky issue there, though, is still the issue of whether or not an OBO
or an SBA is a regular sale or an auction. It's not something everyone will
ever agree upon. However, I think it's impossible for anyone to argue
effectively that an OBO or an SBA is a *straight sale* if straight sale
means essentially "here's the price, take it or leave it."

I'm of two minds on that -- I think I'm more worried about the possible
negatives of ignoring (or, rather, not fully supporting in the most natural
way) AFOLs in non-English-speaking countries.

You mean more useful than lugnet.loc.it would/could have been? Let's hear
the anecdote. :-)
