If your client is posting articles, I think you'll find NTTP to be much simpler and cleaner for that. :-) All the HTTP posting mechanism does is opens up a single-use temporary NNTP session from (...) There is no "official" NNTP lib for Java, though there is a 3rd-party lib I will be evaluating when time permits. Then again, a minimalist NNTP (...) (25 years ago, 13-May-00, to lugnet.admin.nntp)
