Re: Entry for the Town building contest (Was: Town building contest begins!)

(...) I'd love to, but I can't tracert outside the firewall I'm behind. If it's any help, IE explorer generates an "HTTP Error 406 - Not acceptable" error very quickly. James (25 years ago, 31-Jan-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Entry for the Town building contest (Was: Town building contest begins!)

(...) Try a tracert to the place you're trying to go to. So far, try as we might to stick jump.cgi with the blame, it's always been something else, usually slow networks somewhere. ++Lar (25 years ago, 31-Jan-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Entry for the Town building contest (Was: Town building contest begins!)

(...) Looks like a jump.cgi problem... If I click on the link, it doesn't work; if I cut & paste it into the address bar, it works. James (redirecting to .admin.general) (25 years ago, 31-Jan-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Search Syntax Help Needed

(...) OK, lemme see about putting together some docs. As ++Lar once mentioned, we need context-sensitive help here. If I make some help pages, they can be linked to from various spots. Keep your eyes peeled for help links. --Todd (25 years ago, 31-Jan-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general)

  Search Syntax Help Needed

Can I look up articles by specifying a date? If so, how do I do that? (...) (25 years ago, 31-Jan-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general)

  lugnet.technic.bionicle?

These guys are causing quite a stir, and discussion about them, their CD-ROM, and the website has sprung up in many different groups. Might they warrant their own newsgroup to keep it in one place?   CLSOTW sidebar menu

Todd, The sidebar listing of CLSOTW sites is getting awfully long. Since 2001 has rolled around, maybe it's time to archive everything from 2000 like you have for every other year? Also, the past picks pages still use the old (1999) formatting. I (...) (25 years ago, 31-Jan-01, to lugnet.admin.general)
