Instead of actually thinking about something, people are very quick to try to post something that _looks_ insightful to the moderators, for the sole purpose of inflating (...) Okay, a half might be a bit of an exaggeration, but on posts that are more general topic (ie Free Speech, Kids in High School, esp. politics) the bickering about moderation can be very intense. This doesn't happen as much on the uber-geek (...) (25 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.admin.general)
