Instead of actually thinking about something, people are very quick to try to post something that _looks_ insightful to the moderators, for the sole purpose of inflating (...) Okay, a half might be a bit of an exaggeration, but on posts that are more general topic (ie Free Speech, Kids in High School, esp. politics) the bickering about moderation can be very intense.
