A small changepoint --

The web interface no longer inserts those unsightly, no-value-adding footers
into the messages it processes.  Here's what those looked like:

======== Posted via the LUGNET discussion group web interface ========
http://www.lugnet.com/news/       Search, Read, Post, or Watch Traffic

Such footers look ugly, waste bandwidth, waste screen space, make searches
less accurate, obscure sigs, and generally mess people up when they forget
to delete them in quoted text -- especially if someone is following up a
web-posted article with another web-posted article.

The obnoxious footer has been replaced by a humble header,

   X-Nntp-Gateway: http://www.lugnet.com/news/post/

which stays neatly hidden unless full headers are explicitly turned on.

p.s.  Hmm, looks like the newsserver decapitalized my NNTP into Nntp.  Well,
I tried.
