I like your ideas and agree that it has been hard to sift through the
constructive conversation and the irrational rants lately. My feeling is that
a lot of people came out of the wood work after Brad's initial post to vent
their frustrations. I think that it is unfortunate that there has been a bit
of a negative vibe comming from dear-lego since Brad's appearance.
I think that overall this will die down in time esspecially once people see the
things that Brad's group is doing and that this is not just talk or is some
peoples think an elaborate hoax (which I do not). I guess I have some other
Ideas for groups and they could go something like this.
lugnet.dear-lego.sets (Set and Theme suggestions)
lugnet.dear-lego.bulk-ordering (Bulk ordering suggestions)
lugnet.dear-lego.copyright (Copyright policy)
lugnet.dear-lego.internet (TLC's Web pressance suggestions)
lugnet.dear-lego.events (TLC officially sponsored event suggestions)
lugnet.dear-lego.rant (A place to rant about TLC in general)
I am sure there are probably 10 or 15 more I could think of off the top of my
head. Maybe this is something Brad could actively help Todd with. If there is
something Brad really wants to get our input on over a long period of time
(like Bulk Ordering suggestions) then maybe he could give Todd some suggestions
for groups that help him to sort and compartmentalize our suggestions.
I know for one I hope that the discussions become more constructive. This is
one reason I have avoided some of the discussions recently because they just
seem petty to me. (I know they arn't petty to those taking part but that is
just my point of view).
