What happened to my posting setup?

Last night I found out that lugnet wouldn't let me post with out filling out
the posting setup again. I filled it out again and every thing seems fine
but, I still keep wondering what happened. Lately, I had been having some
computer trouble and because of that, I had to renter my internet password so
the provider could recognize me. Is this why I had to redo the posting setup,
inorder for the lugnet server to recognize me again?

| (...) That shouldn't be why, no. You must have toasted some settings in your newsreader or emailer or something like that. Let me take a look at the dead-articles log on the server and see if it has any clues... Hmm, there aren't any rejected (...) (25 years ago, 26-Jul-99, to lugnet.admin.general)
