    cad.dat posts —John VanZwieten
Todd, I just noticed that from the Web interface, lugnet.cad.dat rejects a post if I do not type something in the additional comments box. I got an "Ooops, you forgot to complete all the steps" or something like that, and had to go back, re-browse (...) (25 years ago, 21-Apr-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) Why do you have to rebrowse for the dat file? does the document expire that fast? I would think that a quick back or two would bring you back to where you were. (25 years ago, 21-Apr-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

Going back once takes me to the message posting screen, but the filename has been deleted. -John Van Larry Pieniazek wrote in message <371DB7E7.FA693469@v...er.net>... (...) I (...) back, (...) (25 years ago, 21-Apr-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

        Re: cad.dat posts —Todd Lehman
(...) I changed the label on the box from "Additional Notes" to "Description of Contents." This doesn't change the behavior, but it ought to change the perceived functionality. Not sure why you had to re-browse for the .dat file, but it sounds like (...) (25 years ago, 22-Apr-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

        Re: cad.dat posts —Mike Stanley
(...) IE's little problems with some of the stuff on Lugnet are the ONLY reason I keep Communicator on my system at home. I have it on my machine at work because I have to help people with it, but I don't use it there either. I have a lot of beefs (...) (25 years ago, 26-Apr-99, to lugnet.admin.general)
