| Todd, I just noticed that from the Web interface, lugnet.cad.dat rejects a post if I do not type something in the additional comments box. I got an "Ooops, you forgot to complete all the steps" or something like that, and had to go back, re-browse (...) (26 years ago, 21-Apr-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

SeriousCollector, which also has a browse for filename entry field (well, 4 actually) remembers them if you "back" back to (...) (26 years ago, 21-Apr-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

| (...) It doesn't delete it for me under Netscape 4.5. If the browser is deleting the contents of the browse/upload/filename field but not the other fields, it's a browser bug that can't be fixed at the server end, AFAIK. --Todd (26 years ago, 22-Apr-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

| (...) I changed the label on the box from "Additional Notes" to "Description of Contents." This doesn't change the behavior, but it ought to change the perceived functionality. | (...) IE's little problems with some of the stuff on Lugnet are the ONLY reason I keep Communicator on my system at home.
