If you've emailed Todd more than once and it's been in a more than 24-48 hour period with no response, then posting here certainly seems the next best thing to do... IIRC he does (...) (...) Hmm.. I guess it depends. When I trim, I usually trim things that are completely unrelated to my reply. Otherwise, I tend to leave it all in. I agree with your suggestions. In fact, I think it helps cut down the trash on Lugnet becuase you have to be registered to post, AND Lugnet always shows your real name. Yea, we still get trash (and different people will judge what is trash (...) (20 years ago, 2-Sep-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general)

(...) The problem as others have pointed out is abuse. But what if the "un-spotlight" were merely advisory? It wouldn't have any effect until an administrator (curator perhaps) agrees.
