I've been thinking that it might be very useful if LUGNET had a mode (in the web
interface) where only the first message in each thread were displayed. This
would make it much easier for people to ignore the topics that they don't wish
to read even when an avalanche of off-topic posts fills a newsgroup.
OK, back into hibernation for me. I'm still feeling blue about grey, still not
buying any new LEGO, and I'm not even inspired to use the brick I already own.
Seven months later, you'd think I'd have gotten over it.

Sometimes a thread starts out uninteresting to me, but a turn piques my interest and I start following. I'd hate to miss stuff like that (as I read (...)
