It is long, but Part One and Three Things to Accept are IMO the most
interesting and relevant reads, and discusses real experiences (and often
failures) of online communities that should be heeded.
I offer this merely as another input for the ad hoc group to consider as they
restructure LUGNET, especially as we potentially move from a monarchy to a
democracy.
LUGNET has been a great community, and I wish it the best in evolving to the
next level
Todd, Thanks again for all your work in the past years on LUGNET!

Wow Mark, I am sorry I missed this one in the flurry of initial posts. It is a
GREAT read. (perhaps because it reinforces some of what Ive believed to be true
about LUGNET and BrickLink and rec.toys.lego and other places, and about club
dynamics and etc.)
Thank you for sharing this! (I kept lugnet.org in the FUT because it has general
organizational relevance... patterns that Clay talk about are apparent in my own
club and in ILTCO and etc)
I suppose its a bit late to spotlight it but...
