has something changed to disallow lots of blank lines (ala spoiler prevention)? I have tried to post something that has a lot of white space several times now, and the server just times out. Another post at the same time without white space goes (...) (26 years ago, 17-Dec-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) Well, the good news is that, as far as I can tell, there's nothing wrong with the news server. The bad news is that, apparently, your web browser actually did submit the post three times. According to HTTP form the logs, the timestamps of the (...) (26 years ago, 16-Dec-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

Bingo! That was it. Thank you! I must have accidentally discovered this feature. You know I looked all over the various IE preferences and all I found was a place where I could change the default font. I never found a way that change default size. (...)
