  Re: Problems with confirming

(...) Just tried this, and had the same problem - a post authorized by returning the email with an X in the box never appeared after 24 hrs, but was still waiting to be authorized when I used the link. Kevin (19 years ago, 22-Feb-06, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Problems with confirming

(...) Well, it worked (obviously). I wonder how many people have just assumed they were banned or something and have given up trying. I was about to give up myself. I know the link is obvious in the e-mail, but the box to enter an "X" is more (...) (19 years ago, 21-Feb-06, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Problems with confirming

(...) Oh thank goodness! I thought I had been banned or something! I haven't been able to post for weeks and weeks because I always just use the "X" in the box and hit reply. I never even thought of trying the link. I don't post very often, but the (...) (19 years ago, 21-Feb-06, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Problems with confirming

(...) I seem to be having the same problem. The link to a confirmation page works, but the more obvious and easy solution of replying with an X in the appropriate box does not. TWS Garrison (19 years ago, 19-Feb-06, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Problems with confirming

Hi! I have already discussed this with Matthew Miller, but a final solution is still missing. I can post again, which is good, but I do have problems. When confirming I have to use the link, but the mail does not work. (with is much more convinient (...) (19 years ago, 17-Feb-06, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Password reset

Would it be possible to have my password reset. I have forgotten all of my old passwords. I'd like to be more involved. I appear to be Lugnet #1444. Thank you, -David Winkler (19 years ago, 6-Feb-06, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: OT - did Lugnet just eat/lose al the .robotic threads?

(...) What all groups got damaged? It seems like I have to reset things in Outlook Express in the damaged groups (though maybe if I didn't reset them right after the damage, now that the restore has happened they're ok). Thanks Frank (19 years ago, 31-Jan-06, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: OT - did Lugnet just eat/lose al the .robotic threads?

(...) I see no gaps in the robotics post sequence, so it must never have made it to the server. I think even if it was awaiting authentication, it would still be assigned a post number. It may have gotten caught in the hard drive hiccup. Frank (19 years ago, 31-Jan-06, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: OT - did Lugnet just eat/lose al the .robotic threads?

Last Thursday sometime after post 25482 was made to the lugnet.robotics newsgroup I posted a reply to the thread entitled Re: Why [no single language] is good for Mindstorms. (...) Same here when posting to any of the groups I post to for the past week, in fact, I even had this response when I attempted to mail my issue to admin@lugnet.com. If you can see this - then I can still post through the web. Danny (19 years ago, 31-Jan-06, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Problem posting by email to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto
