Today I bought, for $2.99, a set called "Jungle Surprise" at a 7-11 across the street from where I work. This set contains 24 pieces, including a red snake and a black spider. It also includes a FEMALE minifig (with a rifle) and a silver-colored (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.admin.database)

(...) I'm guessing this is Adventurers set then? What copyright date is shown on the box? 2000 or 1999? Is the treasure piece really silver colored or is it gold colored? (...) The set is copyright 1999, the treasure piece is actually gold-colored. I'm in Pueblo, Colorado, USA. Found it at 7-11 on the corner of Orman and Northern Avenues, across the street from the Convergys call-center where I work. Today I bought (...) (...) The Food Lion on Western Blvd. in Raleigh HAD 3 of these last night (now I do...). What I haven't figured out is how to tell which Food Lions will have LEGO sets. The Western Blvd one seems to reliably have them. I haven't found another Food (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)
