     (...) Oops, my fault. That database doesn't know that 497 and 928 are the exact same set under different numbers. People rated both very highly. The fact that 928 got fewer votes (instances of ratings) indicates that more people probably have 497 (...) (24 years ago, 12-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.general)

It's probably similar to why the Toyota Corolla always got a higher rating than the Geo Prism, even though they were the same car built in the same factory-- people percieve "Toyotas" as better than "Geos".
