The name was previously given incorrectly in the database as "Technic Control Center II" but an actual copy of the box (the "mostest" official source) says simply "Control Center" on it. (...) | The box reads simply "Control Center", and that's the name entered into the database. "Control Center II" (no "TECHNIC") is a LEGO Shop At Home name, as can be seen from the scan for 8485. We're going from the box. Curiously, there is an admin note (...) (25 years ago, 14-Sep-99, to lugnet.admin.database)

| (...) Wow, 1982 was an awesome year for town, space, and castle! I hadn't realized just how good of a year it was until I saw all of the sets in one place. Also, on page 19 they capitalize and trademark "Mini-figures", I don't remember seeing that (...) (25 years ago, 6-Sep-99, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.general)
