Re: What happened to the Cool site of the Week?

(...) Yes, I'd say a LOT is missing from Lugnet's home page. Everything is out of date and, IMO, generally doesn't really represent Lugnet very well. Let me be specific. I'll start at the top and go down: --- Links. While at one time "Everything (...) (23 years ago, 9-Mar-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.curators, lugnet.admin.general) !

  Re: .market Curators

(...) So, just to clarify - if I were to suggest my curatorship, I would do so first *within* lugnet.castle.org.cw? (as an example...) And then *if* I were approved by the posters in the group, I would email you? Or maybe I'm getting this all wrong. (...) (23 years ago, 3-Feb-02, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: Curatorship for Town

(...) Other than my concern that the curatorships may be getting a little "Kevin heavy" (grin) I think Kevin would make a great curator for .town! (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: Curatorship for Town

Kevin Wilson wrote in message ... (...) I'm just reiterating this, although I won't have as much time free now as when I first posted, since I'm about to launch the second annual Town building contest. Still, I am still interested in doing this. (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: .market Curators

(...) Thanks for that clarification. When I posted that I had *completely forgotten* that admin.curators had been set up and I forgot to check, to boot. (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: .market Curators

(...) Ideally, I like to see discussion amongst interested parties happen within the group in question. That is, assuming there's discussion about who will curate. Request messages sent to me privately would be appreciated. A post to admin.curators (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.admin.curators)

Re: Joining Beams Axially at 90 deg

(...) Thanks for the vote! (...) No, not yet. I think Suz is slowly putting things together and assigning curatorship to certain people. I'd guess that she's doing the more popular, high-traffic groups first. If anyone is the Technic curator, speak (...) (23 years ago, 4-Dec-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.admin.curators)

What's up with that? If I recall correctly you requested to be the lugnet.technic curator. I can certainly second that. Any news about it? - David (...) (23 years ago, 4-Dec-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: Curator for lugnet.trains

(...) After I was told that "mumble" was an inside joke I searched to find what the joke was. I searched for "mumble" in .trains. I got *4* hits prior to 22.11.01. They were all between Feb 00 & Jan 01. I'm still not sure what this "inside joke" is. (...) (23 years ago, 26-Nov-01, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: Curator for lugnet.trains

Inside jokes are cute but if they're too obtuse and hide prime content (as opposed to extras for those "in the know"), then I wonder if they are an obstruction.   Request for curatorship

If noone objects, I would take on the role of curator for org.us.lucny I am already doing most of its web-based content maintenance, so I figure this is just another logical step. :) (23 years ago, 12-Aug-01, to lugnet.admin.curators)
